How do we operate?

Sweet Express offer customers the option to pick ‘n’ mix their own choices. Dependent on the size of stand located in the venue we can offer a range of up to 70 lines of different confectionery at one time. Scoops and tonges are provided for customers on the stand to fill up their own bags.

How much do the sweets cost?

By law confectionery sold in a pick ‘n’ mix fashion must be sold in 100g. The price is a set rate of £1.39 per 100g. Sweet Express offers a full money back guarantee should a customer wish to return some of the products. The stand also has a waste tray, for customers to lighten their bags should they exceed their intended budget. As the sweets do not come into direct contact with customers they can be returned by staff completely uncontaminated.

What products we sell?

Sweet Express offers an impressive range of confectionery from traditional sweets to European confectionery and fudge, some of which are exclusive to the company from around Europe.

How big are our stands?

The new style of stand is 2.0m in height but can be extended in length to  4.8m x 2.4m, 6.0m x 2.4m OR 7.0m x 2.4m.

The barrow style stand can promoted without the outer lighting rig and has similar dimensions of 4.8m x 2.4m, 6.0m x 2.4m OR 7.0m x 2.4m.

How much power does a stand use?

The stands have 2 tills and the total power supply required is 13amp. They can be located anywhere in the shopping centre within a range of approximately 6.0m from a standard power socket.

Are the stands electrically tested?

All our stands come supplied with a valid PAT test certificate which will be maintained during the life of its use.

Do they have a fire certificate?

Yes, Sweet Express have a wide variety of stands all supplied to your Shopping Centre with the necessary Fire Certificate to comply with the exact requirements of your location.
